While buying new clothes can be a pleasure for one person, it may be impossible for another. Here, most of the people don`t possess clothes without any holes or shoes at all, beause they simply can’t afford the few dollars. When they buy new clothes, they buy second hand on a local market. But where do these clothes come from? People from abroad have thrown them for free into containers, the companies owning the containers sell them to countries like Uganda and we end up paying not only for buying the clothes, but also paying for the companies owning the containers.
That is why we started our second hand project. Everyone, that wants to give their clothes to charity, can send them directly to us and we will sell them for less money on our local market. This way, your help will directly support the people in need in Uganda without paying third parties.
